Chair – 2008 St. Patrick’s Festival
Nicole
H. Ward has lived in Dublin since May 2002. She moved here from
Clemson, South Carolina where she attended Clemson University. She
graduated from Clemson with a B.S. degree in Financial Management
with an emphasis in Real Estate. Acquiring a job with Hull Storey
Retail Group, she relocated to Dublin. Hull Storey Retail Group is
the management company for Dublin Mall and Statesboro Mall where
Nicole is currently the Senior Operations Manager. In February 2006,
Nicole married Doug Ward of Cedar Grove.
Her previous involvement in the Saint Patrick’s
Festival has included past Vice President of the Order of the
Blarney Stone, planning the Little Miss Colleen Pageant and
assisting with the Leprechaun Contest, Joint Civic Luncheon, Main
Street Munchies, Arts & Crafts Festival, St. Patrick’s Parade, St.
Patrick’s Spell Off, Balloon Fest, Emerald City Show & Shine, and
St. Patrick’s Memory Walk for Seniors. Nicole has also served as
President of the Order of the Blarney Stone where she assisted in
membership sign-ups and lining up volunteers for the festival’s many
events.
Nicole was a graduate of the Dublin/Laurens County
Leadership 2004-2005 class; she served on the Alumni committee for
the 2006-2007 Dublin/Laurens County Leadership, Ambassador for the
Dublin/ Laurens County Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the board
for the Advocates for Alzheimer’s Care. She is also a Dublin Junior
League member. Doug and Nicole currently live in Rentz and attend
Rentz Baptist Church in Rentz, GA. As the Chair for the 2008 St.
Patrick’s Festival, Nicole will encouraging Dublin-Laurens County to
make this years festival the best one yet.
