Lou Duggins - Treasurer

 

Lou Duggins is a marketing and advertising professional employed by Cox Media as the Account Executive for the Dublin Office.  In 1996 Lou and her family moved from St Louis, MO to Dublin, and have settled in Laurens County, becoming active participants in the community.   Lou has two daughters.  Chelsea, age 18, attends Middle Georgia College-Dublin Campus, and Kasey, age 15, attends Dublin High School.  Both children are active in school and the community.  The Duggins family has a standing tradition of participation in the St. Patrick's Day festivities.  Both Chelsea and Kasey served as their class representatives in the Leprechaun Contest sponsored annually by the Kiwanis Club of Dublin.  Lou, a member of the Blarney Stone, has been volunteering at the Festival for the last five years and has served on the executive board for the past three years.  Lou is also active in many other community activities and has served as an Ambassador for the Dublin Laurens Chamber of Commerce for the last eight years, where she was awarded the “Ambassador of the Year” for 2005-2006, as well as top producer for recruiting new chamber members. Currently, Lou is a member of the 2008 Class of Leadership for Dublin/Laurens County.  Lou, Chelsea, and Kasey are all members of the First United Methodist Church of Dublin.
